Freak Folk

Barton’s song, “Look Up, Look Down, That Lonesome Road” is featured on KEXP’s Music That Matters Podcast Vol. 51. This particular podcast, emceed by the Roadhouse’s Greg Vandy, explores a genre often called “Freak Folk.” Other artists on the podcast include Bert Jansch, Nick Drake, Tim Buckley, Bonnie Prince Billy, and Devendra Banhart.
